Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 April 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Safe Hands Care Services website and set out general rules that align with our internal Policy & Procedure Manual, including patient rights and responsibilities, communication standards, and dispute resolution. A separate written service agreement or care plan may apply when you become a client. A detailed summary of all internal policy areas is on Our policies & standards.

About us

Website use

  • Content on this site is for general information. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or use automated means to scrape or overload our systems.
  • We may change or withdraw site content at any time without notice.

Services

Descriptions of services on the website are illustrative. Scope, fees, schedules, and clinical responsibility are confirmed in direct discussion with us and, where applicable, in a formal engagement or care agreement. Nothing on the site guarantees a particular outcome or availability of a specific caregiver.

Your responsibilities (clients and families)

As reflected in our patient responsibilities policy, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate medical and personal information relevant to safe care.
  • Cooperate with the agreed care plan and reasonable instructions from qualified staff.
  • Treat our staff and caregivers with respect.
  • Meet payment terms for agreed services unless otherwise documented in writing.
  • Help maintain a safe home environment and secure valuables as advised.

Communication and payments

Official service communication and billing should go through Safe Hands Care Services channels. Direct payments, side agreements, or private arrangements with caregivers outside the organisation are not permitted under our policies and may result in termination of services or other action.

Caregiver changes

Caregiver changes are allowed for your comfort or operational reasons; frequent unjustified changes are discouraged. Our standard is up to two free caregiver changes per calendar month; additional changes without a valid reason may incur extra charges. New caregivers receive a structured handover. Specific fees and exceptions will be confirmed in your service agreement.

Consent and records

Care may require informed consent, documentation, and daily reporting as appropriate for safety and quality. You agree to reasonable documentation and use of official forms required by law or good clinical practice.

Complaints and incidents

Concerns should be raised with management promptly. We maintain grievance handling consistent with our policies (including logging and timely follow-up). Serious incidents follow our incident reporting procedures. Abuse or misconduct allegations are investigated; confirmed breaches may result in disciplinary or legal action.

Valuables and allegations

Clients are advised to secure cash, jewellery, and important possessions. Any theft allegation is taken seriously and investigated; police involvement may occur where appropriate. False allegations may have consequences under our policies and law.

Safety, incidents, and cooperation

You agree to cooperate with lawful safety and clinical processes. We maintain incident reporting (including serious and sentinel events), investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions consistent with our policies and NABH-oriented standards. You will report safety concerns promptly and provide reasonable assistance if an investigation affects care you received.

Infection prevention

Care at home follows infection control practice aligned with WHO guidance and Indian norms. You agree to support reasonable measures (for example isolation advice, hygiene, waste segregation instructions, or access for safe equipment cleaning) as explained by our team.

Medicines

Where medication support is agreed, you will maintain valid prescriptions and supply medicines as directed. We follow the “5 Rights” of administration and record on medication charts. Medication errors or concerns are managed under our incident procedures.

Emergencies and drills

We maintain emergency preparedness (contacts, training, protocols, periodic drills). In an emergency you agree to follow reasonable instructions from staff and emergency services. You understand drills or responses may occasionally affect scheduling.

Care continuity, attendance, and overtime

We aim for continuity when a caregiver is absent: planned leave where possible with notice; replacements typically within 24–48 hours as per our internal policy. If you request extended hours or extra duties, these require prior approval and may be billed per our agreed rates.

Abuse, respect, and misconduct

We maintain zero tolerance for abuse or misconduct involving patients, families, staff, or visitors. You must not harass or abuse staff. We investigate reports promptly; outcomes may include ending services or legal referral. Victims may be offered support in line with our procedures.

Documentation

You agree to accurate daily documentation practices where they apply to your care—including care logs, medication records, and signatures where our policies require supervisor review—so that we can meet legal, clinical, and audit expectations.

Equipment and home environment

You will allow reasonable inspection of agreed equipment, report faults, and keep the home environment safely accessible (lighting, trip hazards, transfers) as advised. Refusal of reasonable safety measures may limit our ability to continue some services.

Biomedical waste

Where care generates biomedical waste at your premises, you agree to follow our instructions for segregation, storage, and handover for authorised disposal, in line with Biomedical Waste Management Rules 2016 and applicable state guidance.

Grievances

Complaints are logged and we aim to resolve within 7 days where practicable, as set out in our Patient Rights & Responsibilities policy. Escalation paths will be explained at engagement.

Intellectual property

Branding, text, layout, and materials on this site belong to Safe Hands Care Services or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in India, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or reliance on its content. Our liability for services delivered under contract will be governed by that agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You agree that courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the website, subject to any mandatory legal provisions. We will first seek to resolve disputes through internal discussion in good faith before litigation where appropriate.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised “Last updated” date will be shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
